Yemi Alade recently made headlines as she emerged as the winner of Best Music Video at the inaugural Trace Awards held in Kigali, Rwanda. Showcasing her impeccable talent in her music video “Baddie”, the starlet came out on top, beating other Nigerian artists like Asake, Wizkid, and Tiwa .
Retelling her experience on how she recorded Baddie, “I recorded baddie in the oddest of situations in Paris, and against all odds, we shot the video in Ghana with 30 amazing dancers and choreographers producing the entire video under the hot Ghana sun”. Her win is well-deserved and Yemi just had to show it off in her overly-dramatic stunning outfit.
Yemi Alade’s outfit stole the show as she dazzled in a silky green dress. Her flamboyant floor-length dress featured an over-the-top thigh-high slit, adding a touch of drama to her overall lewk. Yemi’s outfit was really a dramatic extravaganza as her sleeves decided to steal the spotlight. The two flouncy sleeves joined to the zipper at the back, added a bad and bougie vibe, giving it the perfect edge.
