In her words, there is a standard biblically. She emphasized that Ruth was a hardworking woman (note, hardworking!) who had been through a lot and deserved someone who could take care of her. Boaz saw that Ruth was a wholesome woman (again, wholesome!) and he had to bring something to the table. You cannot see a woman who puts in the work and thinks that itâs okay to come to her empty-handed!!
Listing out her candid points; she stated that no man should come empty-handed or with the bare minimum. If you want a woman, she should see it in your actions not just words. Quoting her; For you to come to me, you can see that I am a wholesome woman, you know what Iâm capable of bringing to the table, so please respect yourself and donât come to me if you have nothing to offer and canât show it in the full glare!
In summary, women are designed to be taken care of. Hardworking women deserve men that can work harder and take care of them as well. Women are meant to be materialistic, that doesnât mean they are gold diggers. A gold digger is a lazy woman that comes after your money with no focus on your well-being, but a materialistic woman wants the good things in life, propelling you both to work harder.
