Tiwa Savage just disparaged the fashion bias against mixing striped clothes and we are here for it. The singer-songwriter showed up and showed off at the London Fashion Week Burberry show.
She was clad in a floor-length lapel jacket of the iconic Burberry color- a beige background with white and black stripes at intersections. Tiwa also had on, a long-sleeved shirt of the same Burberry color but this time with the latest review of their colors, a blue stripe. On the inside of the shirt, you can see a V-necked crop top with blue seams on its edges. To nail all these together she paired them with a skirt of the same design and color but this time a lighter shade of beige. This skirt accentuated her hips and made her look more like a goddess than a human.
It is of worthy interest to note that she was fully clothed in the brand’s attire and that while all items are of the same brand, they feature different stripe designs and shades. But this did not stop the somebody’s son crooner from pulling a jaw-dropping look out of it.
This look was further accentuated with golden thigh-high fur boots that stopped mid-thigh and a matching colored beanie. And the icing to the already perfect look was the face beat she had on, it gave the added spice we never knew we needed to an already dazzling look.
In her Instagram post, she shared various slides of her in attendance alongside some celebrities including British-Nigerian rapper Joseph Olaitan Adenuga Jr., aka Skepta.
Other celebs present were English model Lila Moss; British-American activist, actress, and model Elizabeth Jagger; and British-American fashion model and designer Georgia May Jagger.
Tiwa Savage has always been a stunner, and we can all agree that she raised the bar she had previously set with her jaw-dropping fashion statement.
