The beautiful and talented model, Idia Aisien, turned heads at the whispering angel event while wearing a boubou flap dress. The dress was beautifully designed with intricate details the front-taking the lewk over the top, while the rest flowed in an airy-like manner. Beautiful hues of turquoise and chocolate were the imprints of this dress and tbh the sea-creature-like prints were spellbindingly captivating.
Wearing a bou bou dress to such an event is something we never knew could happen, but Idia came into view and for us to say she rocked it, is an understatement. The bou bou flap design is a butterfly-like design often worn by women in West Africa. The design is becoming quite popular with the likes of actress Chioma Akpota, Laura Ikeji, Fathia Balogun, and even Mercy Aigbe steadily rocking it, adding their personal twist be it in African prints or silk.
Idia Aisien’s boubou flap dress was long, and we definitely love that elegant and sophisticated look it gave her. She matched the dress with chocolate blonde hair which looked incredibly stunning with her chocolate purse. Her makeup was minimalistic with shades of nude on her face, which gave her a natural glow.
