The multiple award-winning singer, songwriter, and performer was recently confirmed as the first and only Nigerian artist billed to perform at the coronation concert of the King of England. On Sunday, May 7, 2023, the pop star graced the royal stage on the grounds of Windsor Castle, the royal residence in Berkshire, with a mind-blowing performance of her song “Keys to the Kingdom.”
The Afro singer has been applauded for representing her country, Nigeria and Africa well with such unmatched energy and musical artistry by displaying the African traditional musical instrument ‘gangan’.
The coronation concert, which was organized by the BBC, also saw performances from heavyweights like Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, Sir Bryn Terfel, Paloma Faith, Olly Murs, Steve Winwood, and others.
