Tips to follow to heal crusty feet include:
1. Soak And Exfoliate Your Feet
Soak the affected feet in warm water mixed with apple cider vinegar. This will help in exfoliating your cracked feet. Scrub the cracked feet with a foot scrubber or pumice stone.
2. Use Foot Scrubber or Pumice Stone
Each time you have your bath, ensure you use a foot scrubber or pumice stone on the cracked feet. Do this as regularly as possible till the rejuvenation of your cracked feet is ascertained.
3. Adequately Moisturize The feet
Ensure your feet are moisturized by applying moisturizers. This will prevent it from cracking.
4. Wear Covered Shoes
Ensure you wear covered shoes always, especially during the dry season. This will prevent the feet from being exposed to dryness and it will ultimately prevent feet from cracking.
5. Apply Honey
Apply honey to the broken skin a few minutes before bathing. Honey is good for healing and it will help in healing and bringing back the crusty feet to their normal self.
6. Apply Shea Butter
When you have properly washed your feet with warm water, scrub them with a foot scrubber or pumice stone, then apply shea butter on them immediately. This will prevent it from becoming dry and cracking.
7. Apply Baking Soda
Thoroughly mix about two teaspoonfuls of baking soda with warm water. Then soak your feet in it for twenty (20) minutes. Remove your feet from the mixture and scrub it with a foot scrubber or pumice stone. Repeat this until the feet are fully repaired.
